How the Calculator Works
Our shipping cost simulator uses 2025 carrier rate data — including base rates, per-pound surcharges, fuel surcharges, DIM weight calculations, and residential delivery fees — to estimate what you'd pay at retail prices across all major carriers.
We then apply each platform's typical discount factor to show you estimated commercial rates. These are the rates you'd access by signing up for platforms like ShippingEasy, ShipStation, Easyship, or Shippo. All calculations run entirely in your browser — no data is sent to any server.
